Welcome

Some time ago, my mum suddenly passed away, just as we were planning for her to finally pursue her dream of becoming a full-time artist. We had set up a website, planned exhibitions, and started selling art prints. When she died, all those plans came to a halt. A few months after her passing, I discovered a series of drawings she had made for my son. I remembered then that we talked about making a book. Inspired by her love and creativity, I decided to turn those drawings into a children’s book. It was a way to turn grief into something positive, a forever gift and memory for my children. More recently, I’ve been finding ways to bring her art to life, as it is simply too special to remain hidden away. You will find Johanka's art on this site and at exhibitions and as illustrations for my blog.   I hope you enjoy. K.
