"Tractor Worries receives a warm literary welcome" (I think it feels like a hug!).
Tractor Worries began as a personal project to help me cope with grief and honour the memory of my mum. It was simply meant to be a lovely gift to my children who lost their grandma way too soon.
Now, it's a published book that has received multiple 5-star reviews, reached readers worldwide and has a shelf space in a Library in London.
Most recently Readers' Favorite, one of the largest book review and award contest sites on the internet, awarded Tractor Worries 5*****!
(And no, I didn't pay for the review.)
It almost feels like Tractor Worries is taking on a life of its own. I had (have!) no marketing budget, no time and yet my mum's beautiful art lives on, making people happy through this special children's book. Maybe there is some truth to the many sayings about the importance of doing what you love!
Readers' Favorite wrote: Readers' Favorite announces the review of the Children - Social Issues book "Tractor Worries" by Kristyna Skriczka, currently available here and here.
Readers' Favorite is one of the largest book review and award contest sites on the Internet. They have earned the respect of renowned publishers like Random House, Simon & Schuster, and Harper Collins, and have received the "Best Websites for Authors" and "Honoring Excellence" awards from the Association of Independent Authors.
They are also fully accredited by the BBB (A+ rating), which is a rarity among Book Review and Book Award Contest companies.
Kristyna Skriczka tells the story of Max and his adventure with ease and excitement, while at the same time, she tackles some of the most important issues that usually arise in a child’s life and the process of growing up.
Issues like self-doubt, the presence of fear, and panic while trying to get something done can be avoided and toned down with certain breathing techniques, which Kristyna talks about as well in this educational and colorful story.
The illustrations by Johanka Vlkova show an interesting, almost classic style with soothing colors and pleasing drawings that follow Tractor Worries' action to the end. These enhance the importance of the main message of this charming children’s book.
